“It’s a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your front door. You step onto the road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there’s no knowing where you might be swept off to.” Bilbo made this classic statement to his nephew in The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
I just graduated from Southwest Baptist University, and I feel like my life has been quite an adventure over the last year. I’ve been to Mexico to work at an orphanage, four different states for forensics tournaments, Oklahoma City for a summer internship at LifeChurch.tv, Costa Rica for a family vacation, Bolivar, Missouri for school, and a small stint at home in Edwardsville, Illinois. Now it is 2010, and I’m getting ready to fly to Dublin, Ireland. I am backpacking around Europe by myself for three and a half months, and I leave on the 14th. Wow! God is good. And he definitely keeps me on my feet.
So, I wanted to keep a blog for everyone remotely interested in this little journey of mine. Feel free to comment or whatever. I will try and update about once a week and put up some pictures as well. Also, I’ll probably upload some pics to Facebook. Thanks for your prayers and God bless!
